What it is, and why it works.
A fire wall uses a vertical surface as the stage. Flames dance along the top of a wall, spill across a slot in a stone face or glow behind a glass screen, giving a patio or entry a strong architectural presence that a pit cannot match. They work as a backdrop for seating, a divider between zones or a dramatic gateway.
Because the wall holds the burner, we engineer it carefully: non-combustible construction, proper clearances, gas supply and ventilation. We build fire walls in stone, concrete, steel and stucco, and choose burners that look right in daylight as well as at night. A well-planned feature wall gives Nashville patios a presence that makes guests stop and stare.

Fire Walls & Screens: common questions
Can I build a fire wall against my house?
Only with proper clearances and non-combustible separation. We plan an offset or a protected design and verify against code.
How tall should the flame be?
A few inches to a foot for a refined look, taller for drama. The burner and the wall height decide, and we show examples before building.
